Huskers add another

You can never have solid in-state talent, if you are a University which resides in a state full of people who live, eat and breathe the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Nebraska added to that list about ten minutes ago.

Beatrice High School all-star, defending state champ in the 100 and 200 meter.

Now future Husker

It's been a decision where it seemed it was Kansas or Nebraska. But now it's just Nebraska and Kansas made it easy.

"They told me when they offered me that they were taking like four safeties. But today they said they got someone and they were out of room. I think they offered me like two weeks ago," Davie said. "So, I talked to my dad and he said ‘Screw it, just figure out where you want to go', and it was kind of an easy choice then.

"I picked Nebraska."

Davie becomes the 11th member of the Class of 2011, and he joins Ryne Reeves as the two members of this class from right here in the Husker state.

We'll have more on this a bit later.
