Green ready to get started

The summer is about over and two a days are right around the corner. Aaron Green is just ready to get back on the field. He admits that he is still hampered by a nagging injury or two, but he's good enough. Good enough to get back on the field and get his senior season underway. Green just can't wait to get started.

The summer is about over and two a days are around the corner. Aaron Green from San Antonio (Texas) Madison just got back from a camp, but a little different camp than some might think.

"I just got back from a bible camp," Green said. "It was amazing. It was such a great experience for me. It was one of the best experiences of my life."

The season is around the corner with two a days about to start up. Green says that he is feeling good, but still feeling some of the effects of a couple of injuries.

"I just want to get out there and play hard. I want to do the best that I can. I am feeling alright. The injuries are still there for me, but I can still do what I need to.

"It was my ankles, but they are good enough that I can work through them. I just want to get out there and do what I need to do. I am ready for the season."

Madison opens up in one of the biggest games in the state of Texas, and the nation for that matter, as the two top running backs in the state square off against one another.

"We do have a big game on August 28th to start out the season. That is against Cibolo (Texas) Steele with Malcolm Brown and that is on ESPN.

"To be honest, I am not even going to think about it being on TV or ESPN for that matter, go out and just play hard like I have to do. It's not that big of a deal. I need to play my game."

Nothing has really changed for Green when it comes to recruiting. He is still looking at four teams, but doesn't have any visits set up to any of the schools that he is considering.

"I will take a visit during my bye week and maybe another visit or two as I can through the season. I don't know who I am going to visit yet. I haven't set one up or anything.

"Some of the teams that I am considering are Nebraska, Texas, California and Florida State. Those are the teams that I would say I would like to take an official visit to go see."
