Huggins, who played only 13 minutes in the Oct. 18 game at UNM and was 1-of-2, has turned into a scoring machine.
The young man from Bakersfield currently is shooting a torrid .477 from beyond the arc and is averaging 12.9 ppg. He also is an 82% free throw shooter and is averaging 22 minutes per game.
We always knew he was a shooter, but seemed to have confidence issues (or was stymied by Menzies, according to his detractors). He certainly has busted out.
