A bill has been introduced that would conceal the identities of candidates for public jobs. This is a direct result of the last AD search at NMSU when one candidate---one that probably would have been hired---dropped out when a formal request for candidate's names was made. Joe Cordova, a former Aggie football player and current Coca Cola marketing executive, was perhaps Garrey Carruther's choice for the job. But when faced with public disclosure of his candidacy, he dropped out. Of course, Mario was hired.
