Next up for the Aggies is Seattle (9-10, 1-3 in the conference). Seattle lost by 7 at CSU Bakersfield, got whipped by UMKC in Seattle, creamed Chi State in Seattle, and lost 61-59 at GCU.
They are led by 6'5" senior guard Brendan Westendorf who averages 15.4 ppg. Their leading rebounder is 7'3" Aaron Menzies (6.1 rpg).
Aggies dominate most of the statistical categories compared to the Redhawks. Like a lot of teams, Seattle depends on the 3 point shot as they average 8.6 per game compared to 7.5 for NMSU. On paper NMSU is by far the superior team. The Aggies are playing well, will be rested, and have shown the ability to play on the road. It certainly would be an upset if Seattle beats NMSU, but it's not inconceivable.
