I think one side of the upper bowl could be used to build boxes. You would lose those 2,000 seats and probably add back 250 in roughly 25 boxes. This would reduce the size of the venue to about 10,750 which is about where we should be. On the surface that type of construction might seem like a great expense but honestly I don't think it would be a huge expense. I would guess it could be done for a couple million. Although that sounds like a lot I think the investment would keep the Pan Am relevant and modern for years to come. What would be left is the lower 8k bowl seats, then the opposite 2,000 upper deck could be entirely dedicated to general admission.
I also think it would be great if all the seats were crimson.
