Matt Taylor will be the other Aggie honored Saturday night. He will join Ian Baker and Travon Landry in playing his last game in the Pan Am Center.
Matt Taylor has been at NMSU for four years having redshirted in 2013-14. He started 33 games last season and coming off the bench this year he was third on the team in steals, shot .705 from the charity stripe (31/44) and improved his 3-point shooting to .305. I don't think you can measure Taylor's contribution via his stats, but I think his heart is unmatched. Not every player can be a star, and he provided so much more than the Taylor-haters will ever know.
Thank you Matt for being an Aggie.
