The other day I was sitting on the top bleacher drinking my beer and eating my popcorn at the NMSU/Texas Tech baseball game and Coach Weir was there. He went to the top area to stand by the press box to have a phone conversation but I could hear every word. He was talking to the team doctor and was telling him he wanted the doctor to make up a medical excuse for Bollo Gahnore so he could kick him off the team. He said he is using up a scollie and he didn't want another Travon Laudry situation on his hands. I was surprised with his tone. Sounded pretty cold but I guess all head coaches have to make tough decisions. I'm just wondering if the remaining kids are going to be loyal to him. I think Weir is a good actor and that crying bit he did at his press conference was a load of BS. I noticed when he started crying at the press conference after the Bakersfield win he started crying again and Baker was looking at him in disbelief like WTF? In retrospect these things bothered me but now I guess they are amplified in my mind with everything that is taking place. I wanna know what Rojo thinks about all of this.
