Young Alex Kirk

The big man decided to play for in state New Mexico where he went on to have a solid career for the Lobos. Kirk suffered and injury and sat out a year recovering from the injury and once his junior season came to close he decided to opt for a professional career. There were plenty of naysayers about Kirk's chances to play in the NBA and he took it all in stride immediately heading down to Florida for training.

The NBA Draft came and went with Alex Kirk's name not being called in either the first or second round, but the Cleveland Cavaliers were quick to offer Kirk an opportunity with their summer league team. An opportunity that the big man made the most out of averaging 15.4 minutes per game with 5.2 points and 3.4 rebounds per game.
