Logwood's First Visit New Mexico

Recently released from Auburn Sam Logwood schedules a visit with the University of New Mexico

6-7 Forward Sam Logwod this week was granted his release from Auburn University as he is looking for a "place to play as a freshman," says Longwood.

The first school that came up and that Logwood is making a visit to is the University of New Mexico. "My coach at La Lumiere (prep school) was asking me what I was looking for in a school and New Mexico looks like a potential fit," said Logwood.

I'm sure it doesn't hurt New Mexico that Alan Huss (La Lumiere prep school) has been added to the New Mexico men's basketball staff.

With that news Sam Logwood starts his re-recruitment up this weekend as the forward will visit Albuquerque. "I've heard some great things about New Mexico," says Logwood. "You guys have a wild fan base, a great facility, a new head coach, and have won the MWC quite a few times."

It was incorrectly reported that Logwood had already committed to New Mexico. Logwood assured me that he is only coming for a visit, and has not committed to UNM and said, "I'm looking at Oregon, IU (Indiana), Tennessee, Va. Tech, and a few others."
Everything is moving pretty fast and Logwood said "I want to take my time with this, so I don't end up in another situation as before (Auburn)
