Eye On Recruiting: Dustin Walton

TheRedMenace.com will continue to keep you up to date on many of the campers that attended this past weekend's Lobo football camp!

You would think 6-4 210 lb pocket passing quarterback Dustin Walton would be full of complaints. Afterall, the young mane from Raton is a very prolific passer that has the prototype size, a solid arm, and would already be being heavily recruited except he lives and plays for the Raton Tigers.

However, if you listen to a recent interview TheRedMenace.com conducted with Dustin Walton that not only isn't he bitter, he actually has a great attitude and is very supportive of his teammates. I think that his arm and attitude is what really impressed me last Saturday during UNM's football camp.

Make no doubt about it Walton can fling the rock, his foot speed and escapability are things Walton says he has to work on this summer.

According to Dustin Walton he hasn't received any offers or much correspondants so far as he is entering his junior season… his first as a starter and the first year that he is hitting up camps in the area. As Walton hits the summer camps, shows off his abilities, and displays that winning attitude… don't be surprised when the recruiters come a knocking.
