Eye On Recruiting: JJ Hugine

This week TheRedMenace.com will be taking a look at some of the players that visited the 505 this past weekend. Today we start off with Del City DE JJ Hugine.

TheRedMenace.com was able to catch up this weekend to a few of the guys visiting Albuquerque this weekend…

The first is 6-3 245 lb DE J.J. Hugine of Del City Oklahoma

Hugine who was recently named all-district in Oklahoma at the defensive end position visited the University of New Mexico this weekend in what he labels a very good trip.

"It is going good," says Hugine. "I'm getting to know the coaches, building those relationships, meeting some new friends and people."

Hugine went on to tell us that building a relationship with the coaching staff is the main reason that he came out to UNM and ultimately what will help him decide whom he will eventually play for. "I'm looking at what kind of a relationship I can get with my coaches," says JJ. "That and academics are the most important things I'm looking at."

Hugine went on to say, "I'm a hard working player both on and off the field." Something that any coaching staff would like to hear from this all-district defensive end!

So which schools are looking at JJ? "Right now I'm being recruited by New Mexico obviously, Ohio University, Colorado State, Air Force, and Tulsa," answers Hugine. "I'm visiting here now and will be going to Ohio U. in January."

When asked if he had any leaders Hugine responded with, "New Mexico and Colorado State.

TheRedMenace.com would like to thank JJ Hugine for his time and remind everyone to stay connect with TheRedMenace.com for the latest on football recruiting.
