"Coach (Darrell) Dickey has been real good to me and is a great guy," says Neff. "I came out because he has really been looking at me and I wanted to show the staff here what I can do."
That is exactly what the 6-3 320 offensive lineman did as he was able to work out for OL coaches Mike Degory and Cheston Blackshear. "I think I did real well today," says Neff. "I showed that I really did well with my footwork drills. I was timed today at 5.6 forty, but I've done much better than that and really what athlete doesn't need to work on their speed? But I still feel I did really well today."
As far as his game away from camp Jeremy said, "I've played varsity ball back home since I was a sophomore. I'm really good at fronting the people in front of me and using my size to move people out of the way. I've really improved this past year on my pass sets, and really feel that at 320 I have really good feet."
Right now Jeremy Neff has no offers, but has been using the camp circuit to get his name out. "I'm being recruited by New Mexico, Rice, and Baylor for the most part, and have heard from Texas A&M some as well," said Neff. "I have a couple more camps after this one, and then I will be getting ready for next season."
