Locker Room Report: Wolfpack Players

RALEIGH, NC -- Several NC State players met with the media following the Pack's 44-17 win over Boston College on Saturday.

Russell Wilson

"The special teams stepped up and made some plays, just like Georgia Tech. That stuff matters, you want all facets of the game to play well."

"We tried to take what they were giving us and the passing game was definitely there. We had to keep throwing it. We got first downs and did a good job."

"This was a great game for us to come back like this and step up. But each week we have to go 1-0, that's our mind set."

James Washington

"It felt very good, I've been sitting out for eight weeks with a hamstring and I finally got my chance to go back out there and play."

"You get to go in there as a change of pace, pick up blitzes, run routes. You're a change-up back for the offense."

"This is probably out best team effort. All we have to do now is come back against ECU and do it again."

CJ Wilson

"When I came across the field and saw Nate throw his block - he knocked like two people down - and I saw our cornerback Amerson leading the way I knew I was home free."

Dontae Johnson

"Momentum changed right then and there [after the blocked punt] and we kept it going. From there we just didn't look back."

"We didn't want Harris to have another record-setting game."

"Both us and BC came off a loss last week so it was a rebound game. On top of that it was a game in conference so we had to make sure we won this game. We've lost to them three years in a row and we didn't want to make it four."
