PC: Wentz and Sweezy Meet the Media

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Camden Wentz and J.R. Sweezy met with the media today to discuss the upcoming game against East Carolina.

J.R. Sweezy

"They are going to throw 50 times a game. We're going to prepare for it the same as we always do though. Whatever the gameplan is. whatever the coaches want us to do, but it will change from last week to this week."

"I think we're more worried about the pass then the run though. I feel like we can stop the run, but we're worried about the little passes and stuff... they might gash us."

"We're going to do whatever the coaches pretty much tell us to do. We haven't got the whole gameplan in quite yet."

"It keeps us all fresh. We'll be coming after the quarterback all game."

"You go out there and give it all you've got."

"Anybody with Carolina in their name is a big rivalry to me."

"With us, we want to beat the team that is next on the schedule. That's what we want to do."

"Coach Willis has already told us we've got to put our hands up this week, get in the quarterback's face. Hopefully we can bat some balls down. I think we will."

"Not at all. I feel like we should be undefeated. With the way we're playing and the way this team is, it's something I've never been around before. It's incredible how everybody gets along and it's like a family. I've been around plenty of teams and this one is different than any I've ever been on."

"We're a unit. There are no individuals on this team. We go out to do the same job and we aren't going to be happy until we get it done. I feel like it's the mentality that everyone has."

"They really pressed that issue this year. We need to have good Gap integrity and do our job on defense."

"It's like we've clicked. I really don't know how to explain it. There are no issues on the team... it's like a big family. I really don't know how to explain it."

"It started in the winter, summer. Everybody getting in their workouts, doing what they needed to do."

Camden Wentz

"I think that we've grown closer together and we know how everyone plays."

"If you get a player like R.J. back it's going to make your offensive line just that much better."

"It's going to help you a lot."

"I think it's a pretty big for them to play us and try to beat us, but I know for the guys in North Carolina it's going to be how I felt going back to Georgia Tech and winning that game. The guys in North Carolina helped the Georgia guys get a good one down there so I feel like that's what it's going to be like for East Carolina."

"It's a rivalry game. It's a big game, it's in-state rivals, and you take that as serious as any other game, including in-conference games."

"We've now played six tough games in a row in a lot different weather conditions, and I still feel pretty good. I think most people still feel pretty good. Next week is going to be a nice break, but you can't really blame us being heavy-legged or tired for the outcome of a game."

"The defensive line across from us gets pretty tired."
