PC: Akinniyi and Bryan Meet the Media

RALEIGH, N.C. -- David Akinniyi and George Bryan met with the media today to discuss the upcoming game against Clemson.

George Bryan

"It's a good place to go and play. I like the atmosphere there."

"We try not to think about it, we just want to go out there and play."

"I feel like you prepare during the week. You prepare yourself and try not to think about a letdown."

"He looks big. He's real explosive. He looks like a great player. I'm excited to go against him."

"I'm not real sure. I think maybe they've had our number for a little bit, but we're looking to change that."

"To beat Clemson would be a great thing. It would definitely be a change and maybe we can keep that going in years to come."

"We've all got our eye on the prize and that's the ACC Championship game. That's where we want to be so every game is important to us."

"We don't really want to go to just a bowl. We want to go to a bowl game that really means something."

"I think they are kind of like Florida State. They are real athletic and big. Their ends are real good."

"Ever since I've been little I've always watched NC State football because my whole family is fans. Even if I didn't know what was going on I knew my dad was yelling at something on TV."

David Akinniyi

"Their offensive line is more comparable, in terms of weight, to maybe Central Florida, who we played earlier."

"Clemson is more of the type of offensive line that will try to maul you and run the ball down your throat."

"I think it's going to be one of the more physical games we've been in so far."

"Once Saturday hit we realized we needed to move on and prepare for Clemson. We know it's going to be a tough task to go through."

"We have to get the play in quicker. Sometimes we may not get the play in so we have to have something prepared."

"I like the way the system is going right now."

"It's something that we hear about all the time, but we're really trying to focus game-by-game and take it one game at a time."

"Previously the biggest venue I played at was Syracuse with the Carrier Dome."

"The backup is more than capable of getting the job done. I saw him in the game against Auburn. He made a couple of huge plays and is a really good player."

"They lost to Auburn, who is the #1 team in the nation, by three points in overtime. You know they are a really good team who can compete with anybody."

"We have to bring our 'A' game."
