"It wasn't one of our best games obviously. We can't afford to come out and mess around and turn the ball over and not have energy. We had a couple of guys come out with pretty good energy but as a group I thought we were careless with the ball early. But the message to them was that we're not good enough yet."

"They are going to have games – I've said that before. They are going to be up and down, they're freshman. Tonight was one of those games – it's going to happen again."

"The thing that we can't do is make mistakes – like turning the ball over. You are going to shoot poorly sometimes, you might miss an assignment – that's going to happen. But we have to make sure we take care of the basketball."

"I thought Jordan and DeShawn were good for us tonight. Not the scorers that Tracy is but they were in there battling."

"That's such a threat to have a guy like [Wood] to get you back on a little run, which we really needed and Scott did it for us."

"In some part I think some guys thought it was in the bag [at the end]. I think you could tell I wasn't very happy about that. We made some substitutions and got some guys in there to finish the game off – its never over. Winning teams finish ballgames. There is no let down."

"Those are two great games for us and we better be ready to play. If we're not we are going to get our heads knocked off I can tell you that now."
