"Well, certainly long term is the season we had this year. I think that he didn't have a chance like a lot of guys the last couple of years because of the situation presented but his mental approach and positive outlook on everything has carried him through and helped carry a lot of kids through. The ability to lead this team once he got it going himself."
"We've had kids like Matt Ryan and those type of guys, the special guys. They have whatever that it factor is. They are able to focus on task at hand and when it's time to move on they are able to move on."
"I've said it at the start and then I say it to you guys and they figure it out from there. I think it's really important to them. It's coming out in a lot of different ways than just me having to say it."
"It's the third time I've done this, we'll see how they react to it. I played Arizona State and Bruce Snyder was not coming back and played Dan Hawkins his last game at Boise State on the blue turf so we have to take care of our business. We can't worry about what they do. If they have problems that is maybe better for us."
"I'm proud of all theses kids being able to graduate. [Javon Walker] certainly had a disappointing career and a lot of times when that happens and you are not able to play you go into a funk for a semester or two. But he's been able to see the bright side, to see that there is more to life than just playing football. He's done a great job."
"I think we have six kids that are graduating tomorrow and I think it's great that they are able to have their families here and go through the graduation ceremony. We're practicing tomorrow afternoon, I told them to be here but I know they will all miss. They'll find a way to miss."
"We're not even practicing for them and won't until the two days before we leave. We're concentrating on trying to become a better football team. It's similar to the approach we take in preseason camp and spring ball. Starting next Tuesday we'll concentrate on West Virginia."
