RALEIGH, NC -- Sidney Lowe spoke with the media following the Pack's win over Alabama A&M on Tuesday afternoon at the RBC Center.

"It was good that we could win the way we did. That's what we look for – if you feel that you should win a ball game we should win it the way we did."

"This was definitely a good step for us."

"A lot of those were long shots and long rebounds and our wings were leaking out."

"I think they had 20 points at the half and probably eight or 10 of those were second chance opportunities so we tried to address that at the half."

"I'd like to see us just push it and play but early we pushed it and got a couple of turnovers."

"Our defense was good but I thought also on the offensive end we were a little more patient – we moved the ball around and didn't take a lot of bad shots."

"I thought CJ Leslie really set the tone for us with his energy and his offensive rebounds, defensive rebounds."

"Tracy wanted to give it a shot tonight for a few minutes but he hasn't really practiced with contact so we didn't want to put him in there. Hopefully the next practice he'll get in there and get some contact and if can play against San Diego then we'll do that."

"Probably for about the last couple of weeks or so I've seen a difference in [Leslie] in his attitude. He's talking in practice, he's really helped lead. He's really made an adjustment."
