Locker Room Report: Wolfpack Players

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Several NC State players met with the media following the Pack's win over Elon.

Scott Wood, Lorenzo Brown, and C.J. Leslie

Scott Wood
"[The ankle] is alright. It's not 100% by any means, but it's getting it done for the most part. I can't complain."

"It's a lot of history. A lot of great players have come through here, and a lot of older fans love to come here and enjoy this venue. I think it's nice to bring everyone back and let them know the history that we have."

"I've always told [Lorenzo] that he needs to score. He's our point guard and I think he's almost too unselfish at times."

"When I go home I'm going to have a lot of bragging rights when we win and if not I'm going to be hearing it from a couple of people. Hopefully we come out on top."

Lorenzo Brown
"It's an opportunity to score and I was taking it. I wasn't trying to hog the ball, I just saw a chance and I took it."

"We are still upset from that loss we took to Vanderbilt. We've got some anger to take out on people."

"It means a lot, but I'm a pass-first guy. I know they can knock down shots. If I'm open I'll shoot, but it's always to these guys first."

"We have a long way to go. We still have to work hard in practice."

C.J. Leslie
"I was just playing, just playing hard that's all."

"Tonight [Lorenzo] had the mismatch and had the shorter guard on him. He should have been taking advantage of him like he did. He did a good job tonight."

"Coach says it all the time, let's get better a little bit each day. Everyday at practice get a little better. After a while, we can be great if we get better each time."

"Basically, if you're going to do it, just make it."
