Locker Room Report: Wolfpack Players

RALEIGH, NC -- Several Wolfpack players met with the media following the Pack's win over Wake Forest on Saturday afternoon at the RBC Center.

Tracy Smith

"This win, by the amount of points we won by, was a big opener. The guys gained the confidence off this game and feel like they are ready to play in the ACC."

"We continue to get better – the young guys continue to learn and we have to help them as seniors, me and Javi. They follow our footsteps and we are teaching them."

"We can be the best team in the ACC."

"I was rolling – I just felt like I couldn't be stopped."

CJ Williams

"Coach Lowe had a great gameplan. He figured they were going to double-team Tracy because he's had success against them. He told the guards to get open, find an open spot and get your feet set and be ready to shoot."

"We are playing together as a team. We have so much talent that sometimes we think individually we can do it but when we play as a team it definitely works for us."

"I talked to coach Strickland before the game and he felt like I was pressing a little bit so he said let the game come to me. He told me to still be aggressive and the way I took it was to still cut aggressively but not take the bad shots I took last game."

Scott Wood

"It's not every day you beat an ACC opponent like that."

"It's just one of those things that you have to be mentally prepared and physically prepared to come out in the second half."

"This is in the right direction and we are definitely going to get better."
