RALEIGH, NC -- Sidney Lowe spoke with the media following the Pack's loss to Virginia Tech on Wednesday night at the RBC Center.

"We dug ourselves a hole early in that first half. Too many offensive rebounds – I think 14 offensive rebounds - that really hurt us."

"We turned it over at a key point and we took a bad shot at a key point as well."

"We haven't put together two halves in a long time. Offensively and defensively. We haven't had a game in probably five or six games where we've had four guys or five guys who really played well."

"They were disappointed but they weren't hanging their heads. They are saying the right things."

"When you are making a run the last thing you want to do is take a bad shot. And we did that – twice."

"That's what we worked on the last four days – rebounding."

"I was surprised and disappointed that we allowed. That was the one thing we worked on more than anything in practice was rebounding."

"I'm not singling out CJ but that's what I'm talking about with time and score – bad shots. At crucial times. But he wasn't the only one."

"We are hoping that [Harrow]'s going to play on Saturday – he stayed home tonight. We didn't think it was a good idea for him to be there."

"I stayed with him yesterday at the [doctor's office], they were putting fluids in him. I stayed with him yesterday and just talked to him about things. Just try to keep him upbeat. He's missing us right now, he wants to be out there."

"We just have to keep banging – we have to keep going. We need to keep believing in each other and fighting."

"If we just stay with it and keep working maybe something good will happen."
