RALEIGH, NC -- Sidney Lowe spoke with the media following the Pack's loss to Florida State on Sunday night at the RBC Center.

"That's a disappointing loss for us right there."

"We made some substitutions, tried to get fresh bodies, and we made some mistakes defensively."

"We didn't do the right thing defensively when they ran the ball screen."

"It cost us. We knew that [Kitchen] was going to be aggressive... I'm not saying it was a guard, it wasn't a guard."

"They banged him. They were physical with him, they denied him, they fronted him... they just played tough."

"That's his game. We broke down and watched film and we had a separate DVD on each player... we had 20 clips on each player to show what they do well."

"We did something different on that and it cost us."

"We really have trouble talking. We're very, very quiet."

"It's not a tough team to coach because I was fully aware of what could happen in terms of mistakes being made and things like that."

"The best teams defend, and that's the way you win ballgames."

"We have to play perfect. We can't make the mistakes defensively, and we can't allow teams to be more physical than us."

"We didn't win it. That's the only thing that makes it difficult for me. We have a game on Thursday, that's the way I look at it, and we'll go from there."

"They all are good young men. They are good guys. I never had any problems with [the seniors]. They did four years here... it hurts that they couldn't win their last one, but I enjoyed coaching all three of them."

"The story book is not over yet... stranger things have happened."

"The focus is not me. My focus is my kids. That's what I have to do. If I get drained and worn down how can I expect them to be ready."
