With offers from every school in the ACC, Tennessee, Notre Dame, Penn State, Georgia, Virginia Tech, and Michigan among others, it's obvious that every school in the region is all over Demario.
"Yes, they are," he said laughing. "There's not one school that's 'recruiting me the hardest.' They ALL are recruiting me the hardest. I get letters from all those schools everyday."
Pressley had a dynamite junior season, where he led Dudley High to the State 3-A Championship game. Demario was named All-Conference and All-State after posting 95 tackles and 14 sacks.
"I had a good year last season, and we made it all the way to the State finals where we lost by one point," he said. "That was tough, real tough, but this year we should win it all easily with what we have coming back."
His summer plans are nearly scheduled, and he will be touring the in-state schools while camping at each.
"I'll be camping at State, Carolina, Wake, Notre Dame, and Tennessee," Demario noted. "I can visit those while camping and that should help me out."
"I don't think I can make the Nike Camp because we have a track meet, but I think we're going to the Shrine Bowl combine that weekend in Scotland County."
The two major in-state programs, NC State and North Carolina, have targeted Demario early as a major recruit. He's noticed this and likes them both.
"I like the coaches at Carolina and I like the facilities. They also strive in making sure their players graduate and that's important too."
"State is winning games and that's impressive. I also like their coaches and they are stressing academics too. The new facilities they are building are nice. At Junior Day they were not finished yet, but I'll get to see them at camp."
With such an open list, we can suggest that Demario is in no rush to make a choice.
"It's going to be a tough decision, but I just want to see as many schools as I can before choosing. I'll be taking my visits, and I'm in no hurry to decide."
