Miller has Three Offers

A sleeper in North Carolina, Gerard Miller has three offers and could have more to come.

West Craven (NC) defensive end Gerard Miller surprised people with his showing at a recent combine, but it is nothing new for several regional schools.

"North Carolina State, and North Carolina have offered me," says the 6-foot-4, 255 pounder, who says he is open to all the schools. "East Carolina is close to home, NC State has, by far, one of the best facilities I have seen, and North Carolina is my childhood favorite."

South Carolina, and Marshall have also contacted Miller and are in the running. However, it will be a while before he makes any decision.

"I want to wait it out and see what other offers come up, and I may just wait until signing day."

A defensive end in high school, he is also open to his position at the next level.

"I would love to play defensive end, but I could play linebacker, tight end, or even defensive tackle. Last year, I had 10 sacks, 80 tackles, and four touchdowns on offense. I am also benching 340 pounds and squatting 435."
