NC State landed a commitment this morning from Newark (DE) tight end David Grinnage, a player the Wolfpack offered after evaluating the prospect in camp.

"I believe that NC State is a great fit for me," said Grinnage. "They have a great Engineering program and that's what I want to major in."

Grinnage, who recently measured in at 6-foot-5 and 240 pounds, has been timed at 4.8 in the 40-yard dash, and he is the teammate of NC State wide receiver commitment Xavier Griffin. He was offered a scholarship by NC State on Sunday. Like with Griffin, Grinnage also held offers from Norfolk State and Elon.

Grinnage totaled 13 catches for 184 yards and three touchdowns as a junior. He also recorded 34 tackles, 2.5 sacks, and nine tackles for a loss at defensive end.

Pack Pride will have more from Grinnage on his decision in the near future so stay tuned!
