Duluth (GA) offensive lineman Cameron Fordham has decided to transfer from LSU to NC State after officially visiting the Wolfpack over the weekend.

Fordham confirmed his decision to transfer to NC State via a text message sent to Pack Pride. He stated that he will be heading to NC State on Wednesday and will enroll in classes for the fall semester.

Fordham, who now checks in at 6-foot-4 and 285 pounds, is being recruited to play center or guard. He was granted his release from LSU last week. He redshirted last year, but must sit out this season as a transfer and will have three years of eligibility remaining.

Fordham signed with LSU in 2010, picking the Tigers over Florida State, Syracuse, UCF, and UCONN among others. A standout blocker at Northview High School, Fordham was rated a three-star prospect and the No. 7 center in his class.

Pack Pride will have more on Fordham's decision in the near future so stay tuned!
