Locker Room Report: Wolfpack Players

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Several NC State players met with the media following the Pack's win over Liberty on Saturday night.

Mike Glennon

"It was good. Obviously we would like for it to go a little better, but it's always good to get a win."

"Each game is a good season and we now hopefully have thirteen more to go. The first one is out the way."

"I have some work to do, but there is still a long ways to go and definitely room to improve for Wake Forest."

"The first time I played a full game of football in three years and nine months probably. It was exciting."

"I had a great time out there."

"We had to figure out what they were doing on defense a little bit. We finally got it going at the end, and that's when we started putting points on the board."

Brian Slay

"I never thought I'd score a college touchdown in my life."

"Any defense would love to force turnovers and we were able to force seven of them."

"It's always tough to control a quarterback who can scramble and get outside the pocket. You've got to stay to your assignments and not let him get outside."

"I think everyone thought the play was dead. Everyone kind of stopped and I didn't hear a whistle so I just picked it up... it was a fun moment to be able to get in the endzone."

Curtis Underwood

"Mike was calm and he controlled the huddle. He was telling everybody that it was going to be alright."

"I worked real hard in the offseason."

"Coach Bible got it down and the offensive line got it going. At halftime we figured that if we came out and ran the ball it would carry the team."

TJ Graham

"You make big plays on special teams and those are the best moments to make them."

"We got it together. Game speed is different than practice speed."

"What went through my mind was 'you shouldn't have kicked it to me the first time'."

"The second time I could kind of tell they were gassed so I took advantage of it."

Audie Cole

"We just had to make a few adjustments. We weren't ready. After about two series the game started slowing down."

"Seven turnovers is awesome - I wish we had eight. It just shows we can make interceptions and we can turn it around. Brian Slay brought one back for an interception - who knew he could even run?"

"All we can do is learn from it."
