PC: Wentz, Cato-Bishop Meet The Media

RALEIGH, NC -- Camden Wentz and Darryl Cato-Bishop met with the media on Monday afternoon to discuss the Pack's upcoming game with Georgia Tech.

Camden Wentz

"We need to be better. Giving up five sacks, that's a number that is not acceptable for us as a unit. In order for us to be successful we have to protect Mike."

"In that game, I feel like it was the sacks because we got to a point where we had to catch up. The rushing attack wasn't as much of a focus as getting back in the game."

"I believe in our defense. They've been through some adversity recently. Just like we were struggling earlier, hard times have come on them of late just on pure numbers. I feel they are going to bounce back."

"Mike doesn't get rattled in the huddle. He just got sacked last game, pressured, or thrown a touchdown and his composure never changes."

"Their linebackers are very athletic and in their defense the linebackers make a lot of plays."

"Getting to the second level this week is going to be really important for us to be successful."

"We've just got to keep working. We have to create a new line of scrimmage better. We have to come off the ball harder than the defensive line, push them back and create running lanes."

Darryl Cato-Bishop

"Being short we had to take Kahut from the offensive side of the ball and put him on the defensive side of the ball. That's something we had to do during that game."

"It's football, it's life. You deal with obstacles in life so you've got to just move with it. We're trying to keep playing hard and giving 110% each and every play."

"Playing defensive tackle is more of a man's position."

"We're prepared so I think we should be fine with it."

"We've got a lot on our hands this week."

"It's a part of the game, you get used to it."

"You think about it, but if you play fast and watch your technique, you should be fast. They are going to cut you, but it's a part of the game. You've got to play through it."

"Whoever is out there, we're good enough and we've got great coaches, to get the job done."

"You've got to be very disciplined to play against Georgia Tech's style."

"We're just going to try and tackle them and get them down, stop the run. That's our job."

"Last year you could come up on the run, this year they've got a great receiver. You've got to focus on them throwing the ball out of their formations."

"Our scout team does a great job of preparing us each week."
