Recruit Reaction: Clemson

A few of the current NC State commitments talk about the Wolfpack's huge win over Clemson.

NC State played their most complete game of 2011 this past weekend en route to a 37-13 win over No. 7 Clemson.

Pack Pride was able to touch base with a few of the Wolfpack's commitments for their reaction to State's most impressive win of the year.

"It was a great day for Wolfpack nation, coach O'Brien and his staff and most importantly the players.

"It was like David and Goliath where State played the role of David and slayed the giant. The boys talked about how they are playing with there backs against the wall and it showed Saturday.

"I thought it was a big win for the program, and I'm happy to see NC State show the nation that they are a good team." -- Marietta (GA) Lassiter Cornerback Niles Clark

"I think they played well and pulled off a big upset. Another win next week and we will have us in a bowl game which is always fun." -- Coatesville (PA) Quarterback Manny Stocker

"I had a good feeling about the game all week. This game meant a lot to me because I am a South Carolina guy. Great win for the program!" -- Boiling Springs (SC) Offensive Lineman Eddie Gordon

"It was crazy! The fans and the intensity of the game was great. State is definitely the school for me, and I can't wait to get started and to play in that atmosphere.

That atmosphere is like no other. I'm glad that I'm a part of the family and whoever comes to any home game, just know that State will be live no matter what." -- Pomfret (MD) McDonough Cornerback Marchez Coates
