Graham is NC State's fourth commitment in the 2012 recruiting class, as he joins four-star point guard Tyler Lewis and five-star standouts T.J. Warren and Rodney Purvis. The commitment leaves the Wolfpack with no scholarships remaining to use on the 2012 class, but obviously attrition could occur.
The Wolfpack is projected to lose just two scholarship players from the 2011-12 team, wing C.J. Williams and guard Alex Johnson.
With four seniors on the 2012-2013 squad, NC State will have another four scholarships available for the 2013 recruiting class.
Here is an updated roster of the scholarship players following the commitment from Torian Graham.
|Scott Wood||F||Sr.||Marion (Marion, Ind.)||6-6/175|
|Wood has played small forward his entire career, but is rotating between the shooting guard and small forward spot this season.|
|Jordan Vandenberg||C||Sr.||Aust. Institute of Sport (Melbourne, Aust.)||7-1/258|
|Vandenberg is working as a reserve at center.|
|Richard Howell||F||Sr.||Wheeler (Marietta, Ga.)||6-8/250|
|Howell is starting for NC State in the frontcourt, and he continues to log major minutes.|
|DeShawn Painter||C||Sr.||Hargrave (Norfolk, Va.)||6-9/231|
|Painter is now the top reserve off the bench in the frontcourt.|
|C.J. Leslie||PF||Jr.||Word of God (Raleigh, N.C.)||6-8/209|
|Leslie is starting alongside Richard Howell up front for the Wolfpack. He has spent most of his minutes at the power forward position.|
|Lorenzo Brown||PG||Jr.||Centennial (Roswell, Ga.)||6-5/186|
|Brown leads the Wolfpack in minutes played as the starting point guard.||Thomas de Thaey||F||Soph.||Canarias Basketball Academy (Dendermonde, Belgium)||6-8/239|
|De Thaey has played sparingly since being cleared by the NCAA, and he is adding depth at small forward and power forward.||Tyler Harris||F||Soph.||St. Benedict's (Long Island, N.Y.)||6-8/203|
|Harris has worked exclusively at small forward during his freshman campaign.||Jaqawn Raymond||SG||Soph.||Statesboro (Statesboro, Ga.)||6-4/195|
|Raymond is a reserve guard and has played sparingly so far.|
|Tyler Lewis||PG||Fr.||Oak Hill Academy (Lewisville, N.C.)||5-11/165|
|NC State's first commitment in the 2012 class, Lewis should see minutes right away at point guard for the Wolfpack.|
|Rodney Purvis||G||Fr.||Upper Room Christian Acad. (Raleigh, N.C.)||6-4/185|
|Like Lewis, Purvis will be counted on to play as a true freshman. He could potentially start at shooting guard but is expected to play major minutes.|
|T.J. Warren||F||Fr.||Brewster Academy (Durham, N.C.)||6-8/230|
|Warren has a chance to play right away because of his ability to score the basketball. He's one of the top scorers in the 2012 recruiting class.|
|Torian Graham||SG/SF||Fr.||Arlington Country Day (Durham, N.C.)||6-4/180|
|A dynamic scorer, Graham has terrific tools and should be able to play, and contribute, as a true freshman.|
