Locker Room Report: Wolfpack Players

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Several Wolfpack players met with the media following the Pack's 78-44 win over Delaware State on Wednesday night at the RBC Center.

Lorenzo Brown

"Scott reminded us at the beginning of the game that we needed to blow [Delaware State] out this time."

"Like Coach Gottfried says, we have to take it a game at a time. We have Maryland Sunday and that's all we're thinking about right now."

"We've played some tough game this year and there are going to be some tough teams in the ACC."

CJ Williams

"When I'm playing well my team is playing well because I'm not independent. If I'm able to score points that takes pressure off Lorenzo Brown and Richard Howell or Calvin Leslie and Scott Wood. It opens up more for us and allows us to get into a nice offensive flow."

"This offense is predicated on movement, ball movement and man movement and I work well off movement. I'm very comfortable."

"It's good to take care of business. We're playing one game at a time, we're not looking ahead to anybody. We'll start focusing tomorrow on Maryland and this is where we want to be. We're right where we want to be."

Alex Johnson

"I've seen a couple of games, [Maryland] looks ok. They have a guard that's pretty good so we'll get ready Friday and Saturday and hopefully be ready for Sunday."

"I just have to give it to my coaches and my teammates. They've been on me just to play basketball and have fun. I've been taking their advice."

Scott Wood

"I'd have loved to have been undefeated but it is what it is. ACC play is coming up, we have 16 games and we'll take them one at a time."

"At the beginning we didn't have a whole lot of energy, shots weren't falling. Once we had a couple of shots go in and defensively we started to pick it up a little bit we definitely started to get on a roll."

Richard Howell

"Definitely, we still have a couple of areas that we need to improve on but I feel like we have enough practice time and we're good enough going into conference play."

"Having roles is definitely what we need in conference play, for everybody to have a set role and compete within that role and get better at that role. That's what we're doing heading into conference play."
