RALEIGH, N.C. -- NC State head coach Mark Gottfried met with the media following the Pack's win over Boston College on Thursday night at the RBC Center.

"I liked a lot about how our team played tonight. I thought defensively our ball pressure was better than it's been in a while. I thought that disrupted their timing. They are going to make some three-pointers, that's what they do and they shoot a lot of them, but we tried to disrupt them from getting a lot of clean looks. Offensively, when we had the ball on the break a lot of good things happened tonight. Good win for us."

"None of us know yet. [C.J. Williams] will get an MRI first thing in the morning, X-ray his shoulder but I don't know enough to tell you. We'll find out a lot more tomorrow. Obviously, when you're playing the rotation we are you need everybody healthy. But if not, it's part of the game, you have to roll your sleeves up a little tighter and find a way to get it done. Hopefully he's going to be fine."

"Our defense has been much better. We've had good ball pressure, active hands, feet moving, guys down in a stance. I thought tonight the ball pressure really disrupted their timing. It got them out of their comfort zone."

"I'm concerned with us and how hard we play. Are we playing to our potential each night. Again, I thought we had great energy tonight on both ends of the floor and really in all aspects of the game. Right now, we're doing some things well. Hopefully we can continue to do that."

"[Leslie] was great, I thought he was good. He played hard, and outside of him unfortunately again, he had some cramps again tonight. We have to keep trying to solve that problem, but other than that he was good. Did a nice job."
