Local WR Recaps Junior Day

Raleigh (NC) Wakefield standout wide receiver Jordan Fieulleteau talks about his trip over to NC State's for the Wolfpack's Junior Day.

Wakefield wide receiver Jordan Fieulleteau was at NC State's recent junior day and he got a closer look at what life would be like if he chooses to run with the Pack.

Though NC State has not yet offered Fieulleteau the NC State coaches are trying to make it clear that he is high on their radar. They did a good job of making their case at the junior day, though the prospect still wants to get to know the coaches more.

"It was a pretty good experience," Fieulleteau told Pack Pride. "It was good just to see what they're all about and learn more about their school.

"I went there for two games this season so it wasn't my first time there. I was there for the games against Clemson and UNC."

The fans made a huge impression on Fieulleteau.

"It's a crazy atmosphere there. The fans are crazy. They're wild," he said. "They have great fans. It's just a good environment and I love that it seems like they have great fans."

That said, he will need to get to know the coaches much better before he's ready to put the Pack higher on his list.

"The coaches are pretty nice. I don't really know them that well but from what I know of them and the coaches I've met they seem like pretty good guys," he explained.

For now Fieulleteau admits that North Carolina has a slight edge because the Tar Heels have offered. That said, he doesn't plan on making a decision any time soon and he will continue to entertain interest from schools and try to rack up more offers.

This past fall Fieulleteau racked up more than 2,000 receiving yards and benefited from the presence of quarterback Connor Mitch, another junior prospect among the top recruits in the state.

Fieulleteau's brother, Justin, also attended NC State's junior day and will likely be a player to watch down the road. He projects at defensive back on the next level.
