Locker Room Report: Wolfpack Players

ATLANTA, GA -- Several Wolfpack players met with media following the Pack's loss to North Carolina in the ACC tournament semifinals.

Alex Johnson

"I thought I beat him to the spot but that's how it goes sometimes. Refs didn't think it was a foul - I thought they let us play for the last 30 seconds."

"We showed a lot of fight and Lorenzo put the team on his back. It just didn't go our way."

CJ Williams

"We played out hearts out. We deserved to win."

"We played against one of the best teams in the country. We battled back and we fought."

"You want to have your best player out there."

Scott Wood

"It is what it is. It's basketball. Refs make mistakes too - players make mistakes. Things could happen differently but its nobody's fault."

"Richard had a monster game, Lorenzo had a monster game. Alex picked us up when needed to."

DeShawn Painter

"There were a lot of whistles going but that doesn't matter you have to fight through it. Fight through adversity when it comes - it was just a tough loss."

"We've made a lot of improvement through this season. We've faced up and downs and we conquered. That team we just played is supposed to be a No. 1 seed and that shows how good we can be."
