AUDIO: Pack Players Talk Aztecs

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Several NC State players met with the media after Tuesday's practice at the Dail Center.

Lorenzo Brown

"It was an amazing feeling."

"He said it's a business trip... we had two days off and it was kind of hard to recover because we were playing so much."

"We heard they are a good transition team. They are kind of smaller inside but what small teams do is run and we've got to be able to keep up with that."

"I don't think it's easy for any freshman to come into college basketball."

"Last year we didn't really have that leadership on our team. This year we've got leaders like Alex Johnson and C.J. Williams." <

Scott Wood

"We're going down there on a business trip. We're going down there to win games."

"A lot of people say the speed of game changes a lot, but I would say the biggest thing is just strength and mental toughness."

"I've never been one to show a lot of emotion... my dad always taught me you've got to expect it."

"We're definitely excited, got to try and stay calm I guess."

"I had a couple of fist pumps, it wasn't anything crazy."

"I think it's hilarious."

C.J. Williams

"They are definitely talking about us and that's good for us as a university and as a team, but you've still got to go out and do it."

"San Diego State is a good team. They didn't win a lot of games for no reason."

"They've got the player of the year in their conference and another guy averaging about 15. They shoot the three very well and are very athletic. They like to get out in transition."

Alex Johnson

"A lot of my followers were telling me how good of a dancer I was."

"I was just having fun."

"A lot of people think we could be a Cinderella and move past this round, but you've got to just shut the TV off and focus on the first game."

"I know San Diego State is watching ESPN and saying they are not going to beat us. This is fuel to their fire."

"Ever since I made the trip to Raleigh I've kind of been an older brother to [C.J. Leslie]. Ever since we first we just clicked."

"He's playing out of his mind right now. I'm just glad we're on his team and we don't have to guard him."
