Chad Green and Miguel Scott Updates

StateFans does a summer check on NC State signees to get the latest qualifing status and future plans. First to be updated are Miguel Scott and Chad Green.

Chad Green: The Northern Nash Knights lost to Asheville's A.C. Reynolds 14-7 in the State championship game. Chad missed the first three games with a broken collar bone he still managed to sack the quarterback 10 times. Chad is a legitimate 6'5 ½" and 230 and says he has been clocked in the 40 at 4.5. Green is impressed with current Wolfpacker Manny Lawson.

4/22/2003 "Right now, it looks like I will go to Virginia and attend Hargrave during the fall and enroll at State in January. They told me they would hold my scholarship for me."

6/18/2003 StateFans Update "I'm going to a school in Mississippi. It's a Junior College. I will be there July 19th. Hopefully, I'll be able to get to State next December."

Miguel Scott: Scott helped lead Killian to an 11-1 record with 65 tackles and three interceptions in 2002. Scott had 4 interceptions as a junior to go along with his 65 tackles. Miguel is an incredible athlete. At last summer's Miami Nike Camp he had a 32.6" vertical leap while turning in a solid 4.5 in the 40. His athletic ability along with the defensive skills he will bring to NC State should make him the total package at defensive back.

5/5/2003 "I'm waiting on my final score. I have taken the test five times and I am close."

6/18/2003 StateFans Update "I have an 870 on the SAT and my core classes will average out so I should be clear to go to college. I talked to Coach Doc Holiday and we talked about me coming in July."
