NC State's 2013 football recruiting class is quickly filling up, as the Wolfpack has landed another commitment. Chancellor (VA) athlete Chris Holmes committed to the Wolfpack coaching staff today.

"I just picked NC State a little while ago," said Holmes. "I visited them two weeks ago and really liked the campus. Overall, I love the coaches and like the stability there. They want me to play safety for them and that's where I'm comfortable at."

Checking in at 6-foot-2 and 190 pounds, Holmes has been timed at 4.48 in the 40-yard dash. He held offers from ECU, Clemson, Marshall, West Virginia, Cincinnati, Illinois, Boston College, Temple, and Ohio when he picked the Wolfpack.

"The coaches were excited," added Holmes. "It let me know how much they want me there."
