Wolfpack to Play Clemson on Thursday Night

Wolfpack, Tigers match-up on ESPN for second straight year.

NC State Athletics Director Lee Fowler has announced that the Wolfpack's home football game with Clemson, originally scheduled for Saturday October 18, has been moved to Thursday October 16. The game will be televised nationally by ESPN with kick-off at 7:45 p.m.

"We want to express our sincere appreciation to Jim Rutherford and the Carolina Hurricanes for working with us in rescheduling this nationally televised game. The fact that they were willing to work with the NHL to help us reschedule this game is another sign of the great partnership that NC State shares with the Carolina Hurricanes. Because the game was originally scheduled for the State Fair weekend, we hope this change will benefit our fans and patrons of the State Fair."

Last year's game in Death Valley was won by NC State 38-6, a victory that pushed the Pack's record to 9-0 for the first time in school history.
