"With the start of the season still two months away, the Wolfpack are listed in the Top 10 of many media outlets and Rivers is smack-dab in the middle of the Heisman Trophy race.

Heading into his senior season this year, Rivers is on track to break every North Carolina State passing record and several other Atlantic Coast Conference marks. The 6-foot, 5-inch, 237-pound Rivers currently needs just 81 completions to break the conference record of 820 set by former Duke signal-caller Ben Bennett."
