The Big 33 All-Star game between high school football stars from Pennsylvania and Ohio is held Saturday, July 19th at 7:00 P.M. in Hershey, PA.

Look for lots of scoring and lots of passing in the game because Big 33 rules require teams to throw the ball at least 40 percent of the time. This fits both teams well who feature excellent quarterbacks in Marcus Stone (PA), Ben Mauk (Ohio), and Adam Bednarik (PA).

Stone heads to NC State next season after passing for 5,871 yards and 65 touchdowns in his career. He will have plenty of options to throw to on Saturday. Mauk, who signed with Wake Forest, finished his career with 17,354 yards and 179 touchdowns. Bednarik passed for 2,365 yards and 27 touchdowns last season. He will play his college career at West Virginia University.

Other notable prospects for Pennsylvania include: RB Austin Scott (Penn State), S Ryan Mundy (Michigan), S Vince Beamer (WVU), and WR Brent Wise (Penn State). All-American Running Back Darrell Blackman (NC State) was scheduled to participate but has been ruled ineligible for the game due to "academic difficulties."

Notable prospects for Ohio include: TE Louis Irizarry (Ohio State), DL Brandon Maupin (Ohio State), WR Chinedum Ndukwe (Notre Dame), and LB Shawn Crable (Michigan).

The game is televised on FoxSportsNet Atlantic/Pittsburgh and will be on Channel 145 in Raleigh.
