Four-star combo forward Reggie Cameron is in the process of scheduling his official visits, and he had NC State in to see him yesterday.

"NC State was in at my school [on Tuesday]," said Cameron. "Also Michigan, UConn, Seton Hall, and Georgetown came by. UNC was supposed to come but their coach called and said they had some mechanical problems and couldn't make it. They are going to re-schedule."

Cameron continues to list Miami, Seton Hall, UConn, Michigan, NC State, Georgetown, and North Carolina with the Tar Heels being the only school that hasn't extended a scholarship offer.

"They haven't offered me a scholarship yet, but I talk to coach Robinson a lot," Cameron said of North Carolina.

Cameron has already taken an unofficial to NC State, visiting the Wolfpack back in early August.

"It went really good," Cameron said after the visit. "I had a great time. I was able to see a lot of things while I was at NC State.

"I thought their facilities were real nice. Coach Moxley took me around, and I got to see the big practice center and their locker rooms there. Then we went over to the PNC Arena and toured that too. It was all nice to me."

"Probably the best part was seeing the team work out and practice," he added. "Just being able to see them work out up close... I got to see how coach Gottfried coaches. He runs a great practice. He's hands-on out there and really has a command of his team."

At 6-foot-8 and 220 pounds, Cameron is considered to be one of the top shooters in the country. He can also hit the glass, but Cameron is known for his ability to stretch the floor and knock down 3-pointers from all over the court.

Most schools are recruiting Cameron, who attends Hudson Catholic in Jersey City, New Jersey, as a combo forward.

He has already scheduled two official visits and plans to finalize his other three trips in the near future.

"I go to Michigan this weekend and Georgetown the weekend after that," said Cameron. "I think we're working on Miami for the 29th, but Michigan and Georgetown are the only two set.

"After that I'm still looking at Seton Hall, NC State, UConn... some more schools. All of them have talked about me taking an official so I have to think about it."

Cameron, who maintains that he is wide open, hopes to make a decision in October.

"I'm going to decide next month," he said. "I'm really going to look at the atmosphere at the school. They all have good basketball programs, but I'm looking at the student body and the school in general. I want to make sure it is a place that I would like to be."
