COLLEGE PARK, MD -- NC State head coach Tom O'Brien met with the media following the Pack's win over Maryland on Saturday afternoon at College Park.

"Everything bad happens when our school plays them. Sometimes something crazy has to happen like it did at the end to change everything."

"Sometimes over the course of the season you have to win a game that you scratch your head on."

"[Glennon] is a big-league quarterback. There's no question about it. When it came time to make plays he made plays."

"[Sade]... that ball was drilled right down the middle."

"Probably the worst thing to happen to us was we knocked the quarterback out of the game."

"You get ready for a little bit of option but you don't get ready for a lot of option like what you saw... you just don't have time to practice it."

"Tough loss for somebody but thank goodness its not us."

"We thought anything 50 yards and in. I would have kicked it from 55 if I had to - we have a lot of faith in him."

"You're coming into a place that's been like the Bermuda Triangle for NC State. But we came in and survived."

"We've done a good job for the last three weeks against really good return guys."

"I've dismissed Tyrell Burriss and Mustafa Greene, they are no longer on the football team. They weren't champions in the classroom or champions in the community so they will not get the opportunity to play on this football team."
