Locker Room Report: Wolfpack Players

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Several NC State players met with the media following the Wolfpack's 84-62 win over Norfolk State.

T.J. Warren

"We've been building the chemistry since day one. I know Lorenzo is very athletic, a great point guard. He has great passing ability and he's able to find me a lot on the court."

"I'm getting comfortable every day with him."

"Richard and C.J. have a very high basketball IQ and are able to pass the ball from the high post. When they find me I just try to put it in the hole... every time."

"It was getting out in transition and finishing layups. We work on layups everyday... it's a part of basketball. It's easy to finish layups so that is what I do."

Lorenzo Brown

"I have no idea what it was, but I guess that is how they play. They are a pretty athletic team."

"I just tried to stay focused and get everybody involved as much as possible. That's my job on this team, to get everybody involved and make plays."

"I'm not worried about scoring as much. We have five other scorers on this team who are pure scorers. I think it's my job to get those guys open."

"I definitely think we could have got over 100 this game. We were playing a little lax in the second half. We have practice tomorrow to work on it."

"[T.J.] is a pretty quite guy, but they'll know by the time the ACC starts. They should know now. He's been scoring 16 a game I think."

Rodney Purvis

"[Lorenzo] has a lot of experience. He is a junior and it gives you an opportunity to learn a lot from him, someone you can talk to when you are just going through things."

"If the wings can't get open on the wing the majority of the time Lorenzo can beat his guy off the dribble and create for him or somebody else on the team."

"No, I have no clue what it is. Coach just tells us before the game or we go over it in practice kind of, who will be in there first. That's really not important to us because we focus on winning."

"The starting five really doesn't mean anything."
