NOTES: State On Fire

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Here are some postgame notes from NC State's 92-73 win over St. Bonaventure.

Junior C.J. Leslie had a career-high 33 points and added seven rebounds for the Wolfpack. His previous season high was 19 vs. Cleveland State at Reynolds Coliseum on Dec. 8 and previous career high was 24 against North Carolina on Feb. 21, 2012.

• Leslie was also 13-for-18 from the free-throw line, both career bests. His previous bests were 9 and 16, both against Texas on Nov. 21, 2011.

• Senior Scott Wood made his first eight shots in the contest, including five consecutive 3-pointers. He moved into a tie for 17th in ACC history with 259 career 3-pointers, tied with Clemson's Terrell McIntyre.

• Wood finished with a season-high 23 points, topping the 17 he had against in the Pack's last game vs. Stanford on Dec. 18.

• Freshman T.J. Warren, who entered the game ranked third nationally in FG percentage, was 6-of-9 from the field to improve to 68.1 percent on the season.

• Junior Lorenzo Brown had a season-high 11 assists, two away from his career high of 13, set against Syracuse on Dec. 17, 2011. His previous season high was 10 against Massachusetts in the Puerto Rico Tip-Off.

• Senior Richard Howell's streak of four straight double-doubles was snapped after he picked up two early fouls and played only 12 minutes in the contest, fouling out with four minutes remaining.

• Howell was held scoreless in the contest, the first time since his sophomore season that he did not record a point in a game in which he played. His last scoreless game was against Clemson on Jan. 25, 2011. (Howell did not play vs. UNC on Feb. 23, 2011, because of injury.)

• The Wolfpack, which entered the game as the nation's top shooting team at 53.0 percent, hit 58.6 percent from the field in the first half and 57.7 percent overall in the game.

• It was the fifth straight win for the Wolfpack, its longest since winning six in a row last season from Dec. 18, 2011, to Jan. 8, 2012.

• Seventh straight home victory for NC State.
