Sean Paul held over a dozen scholarship offers, but the Vero Beach (FL) defensive back was ready to make his decision after a weekend visit to NC State.

"Me and my friend, Dravious Wright, we just committed to NC State," said Paul. "Throughout the entire process I was close with coach Doeren and coach McNutt, and when they went to NC State it was even better. It made my decision even easier.

"I was excited about the whole situation at NC State, so I committed on the spot. I was thinking about going home and thinking about it, but I knew it was the perfect spot for me."

Dravious Wright, like Paul, is a defensive back at Vero Beach High School who visited NC State with Paul and has also committed to the Wolfpack.

Paul held offers from Wake Forest, Boston College, Louisville, Cincinnati, Indiana, Iowa State, Northern Illinois, and UCF among others.

He checks in at 6-foot and 180 pounds and has been timed at 4.4 in the 40-yard dash. Paul finished his senior year with approximately 50 tackles, four interceptions (two returned for touchdowns), a sack, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery.

Wright, who is listed at 5-foot-10 and 190 pounds, finished his senior year with 68 tackles and four pass breakups from his cornerback position.

Pack Pride will have more from Sean Paul and Dravious Wright, the first known commitments for Dave Doeren as head coach at NC State, in the near future so stay tuned!
