Jack Tocho had met most of the rest of NC State's commitments before this weekend but it was another prime opportunity to bond with some guys that he will spend the next four or five years years with.
According to the Charlotte(NC) Independence cornerback the weekend could not have gone any better.
"Everyone else there was committed except for just one person. I got along with everybody that was there. We all had a lot of fun. It was a great atmosphere and everything we did was fun," he said.
NC State's class is heavy on defensive backs with four other players on board besides Tocho. Sean Paul, Dravious Wright and Malcolm Means are recent additions. Marcus Edmond, like Tocho, has been part of the Pack's recruiting class since the summer.
The linemen surely enjoyed all the food that was shoved in front of them, but Tocho and the skill position players ate their fair share as well.
"Oh yeah," he joked. "The food was great."
While Tocho was on good terms with most of the recruits before the visit he had not met or spoken to many of the coaches. How he interacted with them helped put him at ease about his decision.
"I talked to coach Huxtable, the defensive coordinator and the cornerbacks coach. They all had a great chemistry from a business standpoint but also just having fun. They made a lot of jokes and everybody enjoyed each other," he said.
Army and Ball State had offered Tocho before he verbally committed to NC State but he said he will not maintain contact with any other schools.
