Lewis: "They Are A Great Team"

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Freshman guard Tyler Lewis met with the media to discuss Saturday's game against Miami.

"I have the same mindset but at the same time I have a different mindset."

"Right now since Zo is hurt and we don't know if he is or isn't going to play, then I know a lot more pressure is going to be put on me and I have to do a lot more things on the court."

"I know if Zo plays then I probably won't play a lot of minutes, but I think if doesn't then I get to step in and show everybody what I can do."

"This is definitely a big game for us especially since we lost on the road to Virginia. I think we easily could be undefeated in the conference as well."

"Knowing that we have a home game, we've got to take advantage of it, take advantage of our crowd. Just knowing they are a great team, it's going to help us a lot."

"I think I can get the team in the offense and run the sets. Getting everybody open would be good. It's going to be different because I haven't played as many minutes as Zo, and he definitely has more experience than me. I'm just a freshman, so that would be good. I know there's not a lot of freshmen in this position right now and I'd have to take advantage of it."

"I definitely feel like this is one of my opportunities because I haven't had a lot of opportunities with Zo playing so good and just knowing that he is one of the best. But now I have to take advantage of this opportunity and show everybody what I can do."

"I definitely do. It's not my game coming in there and playing two minutes at a time because I'm the type of point guard that controls the pace. You can't get in the flow of the game when you're playing that many minutes."
