Locker Room Report: Wolfpack Players

CLEMSON, S.C. -- Several NC State players met with the media following the Wolfpack's win over Clemson.

Tyler Lewis

"Zo was just driving the lane and kicking the Scott, it was me just jumping up and down. It felt like I was on the court."

"I just saw Scott and ran right over to him. Knowing that he hit the shot, I'm happy for him. It's his senior year, so I'm just really happy that he hit the game winner."

"We've lost three or four close ones already this year. It's about time we came back and won a game."

"We knew we had to get this win. Coach tells us everyday, a win is a win. No matter who you beat or how much you beat them by. It's still a win. Just knowing that we came in here and got the W, it's a big game for us."

Scott Wood

"It kind of slipped a little bit, but once I saw it was on line, I knew it was pretty good, and had a good chance."

"Hopefully, this can boost on a little win streak here coming up. We've been struggling on the road. It's nice to get that monkey off our back."

"It's tough. In the ACC, it doesn't matter who you play on the road, it's going to be a tough matchup. I've always found it particularly tough to play in this building. At the end of the day, we gave us a good chance to be in it at the end. We were lucky enough to knock down a shot and win it."

"One of the things they always say for shooters is you can't remember your last shot. You've just got to block it out and know that coach and your teammates have faith in you to knock down the next one. When your name gets called, you've just got to step up and have confidence."
