Locker Room Report: Wolfpack Players

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Several NC State players met with the media following the Wolfpack's win over Boston College.

Lorenzo Brown

"That was a goal, to come out from the beginning and finish at the end."

"We tried to focus on staying in a defense stance this game."

"We did a good job as a team of playing defense and getting guys open."

"Hopefully we can keep getting wins like this and move on from the tournament."

"Rodney had a big game tonight."

C.J. Leslie

"He said he believed in me. He said he knows I can play, he said to just come out and get it."

"Great players just bounce back and he said not to come out and rush it, just play within the flow and get it back within rhythm."

"I was very patient. I didn't want to come out and force anything."

"I just really let the game come to me and stay patient, allowing my teammates to play well and pick up the way I know how."

"That's good for us."

Scott Wood

"I think it was big, especially to prove to ourselves that when we're committed on the defensive end we can play some good basketball."

"When we're guarding like we're capable of doing we're a good team."

"Anytime we can get him transition he's a lethal player."

"For the most part we did a pretty good job of closing out hard and make them take contested ones."

Rodney Purvis

"Honestly, I thought this was one of our best halves of defense."

"I was just ready to play and ready to get back on the court."

"That's where I'm best at. Once I get a few jumpers in transition my 3-pointer started opening up for me."

"Lorenzo Brown was my free throw coach during the game."

"We just play to our advantages."

"He said to go out and play, make things happen on the court. That's about it really."
